Great running back in football.....paced 1945 New Britain High School team to state championship, and was selected to All-State team.....played at Trinity College, 1948-51.....teams compiled 4 year record of 27-3.....was named "Little All-American Honorable Mention" by both the Associated Press and United Press International.
