Honors student, star athlete at New Britain High School and Eastern Connecticut State University...outstanding coach, ECSU and Tolland High School...at NBHS was tri-captain and a standout on 18-2 1974-75 girl's basketball team, a CIAC semi-finalist...also played softball and ran cross country ....associated with Eastern's women athletic program over 14 seasons, basketball player, 1975-79, softball, 1977 and 1978, assistant basketball coach, 1985-86, 1986-87, coach of soccer, 1985-1991....inducted into ECSU Athletic Hall of Fame, 1997....has coached girl's basketball, soccer and softball at Tolland High School...1982, 1983 and 1984 soccer team won successive state championships...New England and Connecticut Girl's Soccer Coach of the Year in both 1983 and 1995.
