Football luminary.....starred at Providence College, 1937-41.....captain of Friars in 1940, made All-East and was a member of New York Herald Tribune Eastern All-Stars.....played guard for National Football League's New York Giants.....New Britain School System Director of Athletics, 1953-67.....inducted into Providence College Athletic Hall of Fame in 1972.....member of the New Britain Sports Hall of Fame since 1999.
