David L. Dunn
One of New Britain High School's all-time legendary scholar-athletes.....played fullback on three successive state championship football teams, 1907, 1908 and 1909, and on four straight basketball teams which won the state title in 1906-07, 1907-08, 1908-09 and 1909-10.....also played four seasons of baseball, 1907-1910.....years later, coached 1919 football team to 7-0 record and the state championship, and was coach of the 1919-20 and 1920-21 basketball teams which produced a combined record of 19-11.....went on to practice law, served as mayor from 1934-1936.....earlier years selection.
