Football activist for over 40 years, as a player, coach and program director.....first took up coaching in New Britain Midget Football League, then organized the Police Athletic League (PAL) Raiders in 1982.....has served as program director and coach, with teams competing in the National Pop Warner Program since 1985, winning 10 state championships and five New England titles, with one second place and four third place finishes in the "Super Bowl," played annually in Florida.....honored for his efforts in behalf of youth football by the Connecticut Sportswriters Alliance, and the Northern Connecticut Chapter of the National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame.....holds the rank of Captain in New Britain's Police Department.
