Prominent basketball figure, both as a player and official.....starter on New Britain High School's 1948-49 and 1949-50 Class "A" state championship teams which also participated in the New England Tournament at the Boston Garden.....went on to also star at Trinity College before embarking on a 27-year career in officiating, 1954-1981, during which he handled major games, and was widely-respected.....served on Parks and Recreation Commission in Town of Berlin.....retired educator, fine golfer, has won the men's over-50, over-60 and over-70 championships at Timberlin.
