AChieved football stardom at New Britain High School and Boston University, and with the Pittsburgh Steelers of the NFL.....All-State end on 1945 NBHS State Championship team.....was named to BU's Post WWII All-Star team, and was elected to Terriers' Athletic Hall of Fame in 1972.....Steelers' standout, 1952-54.....teacher/coach many years.....died in 1987.
