Outstanding pitcher when fast-pitch softball was popular throughout the country.....played for such teams as the Northwestern Vets, American Hardware and the Emeralds.....winning pitcher when the Vets beat the Raybestos Cardinals in 1949 state championship game.....pitched American Hardware to 6-5 win over Seamless Manufacturing of New Haven for the 1960 State Industrial Fast-Pitch Softball League Championship.....had 16 career no-hitters.....died on June 28, 1985.
