Henry "Hank" Majlinger
Head baseball coach, Central Connecticut State University, 1949-1978.....teams had 27 straight winning seasons, and a combined record of 353-166 for "Hank," the decorated combat veteran of World War II who also coached the 1954 Blue Devil football team to a perfect 6-0 record.....was inducted into Central's Athletic Hall of Fame in 1979, and received a Connecticut Sportswriters Alliance Gold Key in 1987.....died in 1999.
