James "Big Jim" O'Brien
Inducted into the New Britain Sports Hall of Fame in 1996.....was an outstanding football lineman at New Britain High School and co-captained the 5-3 1931 team.....went on to play at Manhattan College.....was inducted into the VFW Walter J. Smith Post 511 Sports Hall of Fame in 1969.
