Outstanding athlete, football, baseball and track at New Britain High School, 1932-35.....Connecticut All-State halfback on unbeaten and untied 1934 football team which went 9-0 and won the state championship.....was presented the Burns Memorial Award in 1935.....football star at Fordham University, 1935-37.....laurels also include a number of racketball titles during period of 1957-62.....also played on tournament winning golf teams in 1967, 1968, 1971, 1974, 1981, 1983 and 1985 at Shuttle Meadow Country Club.
