Co-captain, All-State and All-Capital District Conference end on New Britain High School's 1960 football team which compiled a 9-1 record and won the CDC Championship.....also lettered in basketball and baseball for the Golden Hurricanes.....starred in football at Morehead State University, 1961-64, All-Conference end, 1964; president, university's Letterman's Club, 1965.....35-year career in teaching/coaching.....head coach of four conference-winning high school wrestling teams in Ohio, assistant coach with a state championship and four unbeaten football teams.....served as president of Greater Cincinnati Wrestling Officials Association, 1984.....included in Who's Who Among American Teachers, 2000.....received Ohio High School Football Coaches 30-Year Award in 2001.
