Outstanding student-athlete at both New Britain High School, 1942-1945, and the Teachers College of Connecticut (now Central Connecticut State University), 1946-1950.....1945 Burns Memorial recipient at NBHS for academics, citizenship and athletics.....was captain of 1944 football team.....talented running back, strong on defense.....also played basketball and baseball for the Red and Gold.....co-captain of TCC's 5-2-1 football team in 1949.....played the outfield for Blue Devil baseball teams.....died in 1969.
